For the first time in the mainline series, Grand Theft Auto VI is built around two protagonists — and they’re a couple. Lucia Caminos is the first female lead in a mainline GTA, and Jason Duval is her partner in both senses of the word.

Rockstar describes a story that kicks off when an easy score goes wrong, pulling Lucia and Jason into a criminal conspiracy that stretches across Leonida. Their relationship — and their need to rely on each other to survive — is the emotional core of the game.
The dynamic draws obvious comparisons to Bonnie and Clyde: two people against the odds, bound together by circumstance and choice.
